Are We Carrying the Aroma of Christ?

by Edie Melson @EdieMelson

But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. 2 Corinthians 2:14

Travel back in time with me as we watch Joseph and Nicodemus take the body of Jesus from the cross that fateful Friday and prepare it for burial. It must have taken valuable time to convince Pilate to let them have Him, but they managed. Nicodemus carried seventy five pounds of myrrh and spices to prepare the body. It was an offering worthy of a king—a dead king.

At the Cross

by Tammy Karasek @TickledPinkTam

An important day in history happened at a wooden cross. The cross that held the Son of God.

Christmas is also a special day because believers in Christ celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. But, without a cross, it’s just the birth of Joseph and Mary’s son.

The event at the cross happened on a day we call Good Friday, the beginning of what was completed three days later.
