March 6: I don't think it's a coincidence that it's Dentist Day and White Chocolate Cheesecake Day.
March is here and it’s time again for
Calendar Days. These are just fun to read.
They’re also a great way to jumpstart our creativity when looking for ideas for articles and blog posts. They’re also a fun writing prompt idea.

In addition, calendar days are
great conversation starters for social media sites like Facebook and Twitter,
especially when two contrasting holidays fall on the same date.
Here are some that tickled my funny bone this month:

March 6: I don't think it's a coincidence that it's Dentist Day and White Chocolate Cheesecake Day.
March 9: It seems a little unfeeling that it's Panic Day and Get Over it Day. Just Sayin'.
March 15: Is it Dumbstruck Day because it's Everything You Think is Wrong Day or it's True Confessions Day.
March 18: It's Forgive Mom and Dad Day and Supreme Sacrifice Day—OUCH!

Edie, I love these posts. Thank you for putting them together.
ReplyDeleteCherrilynn, I'm so glad you aren't sick of then yet! Blessings, E
DeleteMy birthday is March 3rd, and I like that it's World Book Day and I Want You to be Happy Day. Every day is a book day in my world! Love the list each month.
ReplyDeleteSharron, that's awesome! Happy Early Birthday! Blessings, E
DeleteThank you Edie. This list is very helpful. I love the ideas you help us with. I like two of the days this month. International Earth Day (this should be every day) and Welcome Home Vietnam Veteran's Day. My husband was in Vietnam and didn't feel welcomed home at all. In fact people put him down for serving over there. We need to thank and praise all of our veterans.
ReplyDeleteJann, thank you. And as far as Welcome Home Vietnam Veteran's Day - there's an article in that - one you should write. Coming from the wife of a vet, it would have a unique viewpoint. Blessings, E
