I get a lot of questions
from writers about which blogs have consistent, valuable information. There are
lots of them out there, but which ones are most valuable depends on what kind
of writing you do.
I'm going to go ahead and apologize in advance—I'm sure I've left off some and I'm truly sorry. Also, the sites are NOT in order of importance or value.
For Freelance Writing and
Social Media, I read one group of blogs. These include:
Make a Living Writing from
Carol Tice
CopyBlogger from Brian Clark
ProBlogger from Darren Rowse
Allume, a blog from a
blogging conference

Mashable (This is an industry site
for social media and digital tech)

Blogs:
Novel Rocket from Gina

Now I’d love to know the
sites you find valuable. Leave a comment below and share your finds with us!
And as always, don’t forget
to join the conversation,
Blessings,
Edie

DeleteI see Susan already mentioned him, but Jeff Goins is one of my favorites. I also enjoy reading Proverbs 31's daily devotions for women.

DeleteI follow and enjoy most of the blogs you mentioned, Edie, and some of the ones mentioned by others in the comments. Jeff Goins is one of my particular favorites. One of the most useful blogs I follow is Michael Hyatt's (www.michaelhyatt.com). His primary focus is "intentional leadership," but he blogs on a variety of topics useful to writers, from productivity/technology recommendations to, of course, platform building.
ReplyDeleteThank you for starting this conversation!
