Since Friday was the first day of spring, I thought I'd share a recent experience in the form of a photo.
Last weekend my husband and I had the opportunity to witness the shy blooming of an endangered wildflower, Oconee Bells, shortia galacifolia. These shy flowers only bloom for about two weeks in the early spring.
