This-a-way or That-a-way
I so enjoy the
eloquence of Yogi Berra.
Granted, it’s a bit
garbled, but the man speaks truth.
When you come to
a fork in the road, take it.
Make a decision. Make
a choice. Keep moving.
And yes, sometimes the
decision we have to make is all about choosing between a right or wrong
possibility. But sometimes it is about making the decision to take
the fork in the road — either one — and face the coming consequences.

Thanks for this. A stark reminder that life's reality is a maze of paths, blind alleys, beautiful vistas, dead ends, pleasant surprises, shaky ground, overlooks, quicksand, pinnacles, etc. No one is privied to the treasure map or master plan. But we all have the blessed assurance that God is with us every step of the way. He will accompany us all the way if we but ask. There is no "Door #3."

DeleteLife is all of what you said, and God is with us through of all if. That's what we have to remember.
What helps you take the fork? The main thing is once you take it, don't look back. And trust the Father He led you the right way, or will get you back on track. Else, you will never leave the fork. And wash before eating.

Sometimes it's the journey that has come before. Sometimes it's the companion(s) walking beside me. Sometimes it's the lure of what's ahead. And yes, always, always wash before eating. ;O)
I love Yogi Berra quotes. I even have a book of them. Thanks for the reminder that if we want the best for our lives, standing still isn't an option.

DeleteYogi Berra always makes me smile and ponder. And yes, life is both movement and waiting. A paradox, at times.
Sometimes we are paralyzed at the fork in the road and can't/won't make a decision. We stand there doing nothing, looking to the right and to the left. Or, we back up and continue on the familiar path never knowing what journey awaited us. Thought-provoking. Thank you for this post.
