I'm a huge Edgar Allan Poe fan, and this weekend we had the opportunity to hang out at Poe's Tavern, in Charleston, SC. So in honor of this amazing place, I'm sharing a quote from Poe.
I'd love to know what your favorite Poe quote is.

ReplyDelete"I know not how it was--but, with the first glimpse of the building, a sense of insufferable gloom pervaded my spirit." -- from The Fall of the House of Usher
And by the way, my great-grandmother was an Usher widow when she married my great-grandfather. We can't find out anything about her first husband. Spooky!
