Social Media Image—Light

I'd love to hear your thoughts about this quote.

"We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy
of life is when men are afraid of the light." —Plator

  1. Methinks Plato had it right. But the Bible tells us evil hates the light. Nobody likes to have their sin illuminated, but those who have trusted Jesus realize there is no condemnation in His light. Unfortunately, the enemy of our souls tells people th opposite.

  2. Today the sun is shining in Jacksonville, Florida. The light is dancing on the leaves of my trees...and it makes me happy. It has been overcast for so long and when the light breaks through such joy comes with it. Oh, how sad for those who don't come to the light. But it compels me to be the light as our Savior taught us. Bright in the corner where we are...the Lord can change a heart!

And thank you dear Edie, for your generosity to share your wonderful photos.

  4. What a sobering and true statement! What we're all really looking for is found in the light, but so few believe it. We cling to the things we love in the dark not realizing that if we saw those things in the light for what they really are, we'd throw them far from us.

    Love this Edie!!
