We have to always remembers God thoughts are not our thoughts and HIs plans are not our plans. We just have to trust that He has perfect plans and He will bring good in His timing. I know the waiting is hard, but it always seems to turn out to be even harder when we don't wait on God's timing. Have a blessed day. Thank you for an excellent post. I don...Brenda,

Thank you for an excellent post. I don't usually leave comments on Sunday--I don't usually even read blogs. But I had a little time and found this blog. The message is so timely, I had to respond.

Am I waiting?

Yes. I've been waiting since late last year for the permission to write fiction again. The door on that was closed so completely and in such a way that I believe God did it for a reason.

I am at peace with that realization, but confess I still sometimes feel the itch. Every time, I've given the matter to God. I ask to be released, but so far, the answer has always been, Wait.

There are other things to do right now. Things I'd have to squeeze in if I were writing fiction. Things I might not like doing but that are necessary. Since I'm not writing fiction, however, I've been able to give those things the attention they deserve and let God take care of the fiction.

Yes, it's difficult. Sometimes I think, If only I could get started, I could work everything out.

Wrong answer.

Thank you for the encouragement to continue through the waiting. And to wait for the right answer.

Carrie Lynn LewisCarrie Lynn Lewishttp://www.indieplottwist.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2907737240492304428.post-21928377420959412232015-07-26T14:25:02.675-04:002015-07-26T14:25:02.675-04:00Brenda, thanks for reminding us that we're not...Brenda, thanks for reminding us that we're not the only ones waiting. Some of us will wait longer than others, and one of the hardest things we have to do while waiting is to pray for those whose accomplishments, in our mind, should be ours. We waited in lines to get shots, waited for orders to our next duty station, and waited for the weather to clear to take off in the C-130 aircraft. Waiting was a part of everyday life. Writing feels that way. Hurry up and write, then wait for it to get published. God has taught me over the last 25 years that my last minute is His perfect timing. truthtoshine.blogspot.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05911184699045569514noreply@blogger.com
